Brita Brazil

Hi! My name is Brita Brazil. I was the first supermodel from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2020 I wrote a book telling this story. Now, I'm producing the documentary "Márcia Brito, the first supermodel of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil" - by Brita Brazil. The book will be released along with the documentary, which I've been filming since January 2025. I worked as a model for 23 years, during the intense and remarkable periods of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. I also worked in Europe in the 70s for these model agencies: Bobton's (England), Paris Planning (France), and Fashion Models (Italy). In 1976 I also worked in Mexico City. Throughout my modeling career, I have been heavily involved in activism for my passions: Brazilian Indigenous Culture, Nature, and low-income Brazilian children.
